There are immediate and near-term openings for the following levels: Staff, Senior or Project Civil Engineer or Project Geotechnical Engineer with an MS Degree or PhD in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized college or university with a strong reputation. Registration as a Professional Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer in California or any other State is not required for Staff level positions but is preferred for Project and Senior Geotechnical Engineer positions. Projects would include the design, evaluation, inspection, assessment, construction and rehabilitation of dams, levees and other water retaining structures, flood control and wastewater facilities in the United States, including earth, rockfill, concrete and roller compacted concrete (RCC) structures, levees, pipelines, channels, hydraulic structures, spillways, reservoir outlet works, pump stations, and coastal projects such as sedimentation studies, breakwaters and jetties. A Master's Degree or higher is preferred for all positions, but a lesser degree will be considered based on experience and location. Requirements also include strong computer skills, hands-on experience using SharePoint and/or other collaboration and document exchange programs, very good communications and excellent writing skills, and evidence of success in working well with other staff and clients as part of a responsive, technical and professional team.
