The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a highly qualified Professional Engineer to serve as a field Construction Liaison expert and advisor on heavy civil construction, water storage reservoirs, pumping plants, water conveyance canals and pipelines, and hydropower generating facilities projects. An ideal candidate may have previously served as a Federal Government contractor or Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). This position is involved in all phases of engineering construction and design from appraisal studies, feasibility designs, final designs, procurement and contractor selection, construction contract management, to post construction activities. Involvement includes providing constructability reviews, specification and drawing reviews, and construction contract management recommendations throughout the entire engineering design and construction process.
