What you will do
Our new Technical Recycling Specialist - Paper will be part of a team of five, with expertise in the recycling of beverage cartons. You will be working closely with other recycling specialists and support colleagues across the world in recycling projects, as well as the central product development teams. You will also collaborate with a wide range of external partners in the recycling value chain.
Main focus is to:
Define and assess requirements for recyclability in package/paper design, as well as for recycling equipment
Facilitate recyclability trials in-house and with external suppliers and develop test methods
Lead and/or participate in activities aiming to improve recycling solutions of beverage cartons together with external partners
Knowledge management in the area of expertise and support capability development of colleagues
This position is based in Lund, but you work in a global arena. You will travel around 10-20% of your time.
Who you are
To become successful in this position you have the will, ability and drive to become an expert in recycling of beverage cartons. As a person we think you have a lot of energy, autonomy, and a strong drive for results and to continuously learn. To build and maintain successful relations with stakeholders comes natural to you.
You have a technical background and understanding, with 3-5 years’ experience from the industry related to any of the fields of paper chemistry, paper physics or papermaking and/or recycling. The ideal candidate has knowledge from pulp/paper process chemistry, product development and/or project management. If you have worked at a paper mill or converter this is considered a plus.
From an educations point of view, you have a University degree, probably in Engineering, and you are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.
