The City of Bend is currently recruiting for two leadership positions in the City’s Engineering Departments. These positions manage the operational aspects of assigned engineering functions of Engineering & Infrastructure Planning Department, or the Community Development Private Development Engineering Department. Leads innovative teams in department-wide initiatives, and oversees multiple programs and engineering activities for the departments including coordination, leadership and management of engineers, support staff and other resources.
Assistant City Engineer – Engineering & Infrastructure Planning Dept.: Focuses largely on master planning, water, wastewater, storm water, transportation, airport and other infrastructure capital improvement projects and programs.
Assistant City Engineer – Private Development/Community Development: Focuses largely privately initiated construction projects. Maintains and interprets the City of Bend Public Improvement Construction Procedure Standards and Specifications.
