Are you passionate about mineral processing equipment and solving problems with innovative solutions? Do you enjoy learning, discovering and upgrading your knowledge about mineral processing technologies? Do you do your best work in a collaborative environment where team members and consultants work together to help our clients improve operations and solve challenges by providing quality integrated equipment solutions? Do you thrive when given the creative freedom to pursue your ideas? Can you imagine working as a lead member on a team with our clients and helping them grow and expand their projects? And do all of this from your home, working remotely within North America.  If this sounds appealing, we have the dream job for you.

About us:  D’Angelo International brings a solid track record of 30+ years in the mineral process equipment business and has expanded to include construction aggregates, specialty minerals, fertilizer and recycling equipment. D’Angelo International brings a strong history of trusted relationships and an extensive customer base. We combine transparency with capability and quality equipment to transform the way used and surplus equipment is purchased and sold within the industry. In addition to refurbished equipment, we also custom design and manufacture new processing equipment. We have a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and hold ourselves to the highest level of integrity and trust. https://dangelointernational.com

We are at our best when we bring inspiration and new ideas to our clients. We enjoy opening possibilities that were not otherwise available. Our team takes a curious, open-minded approach to understanding our clients’ operations and uses that insight to create long-term, mutually satisfying partnerships.

Your role: We have an opening for a Mineral Processing Equipment Specialist with a thorough understanding of mineral processing equipment to engage with customers and support mineral processing equipment sales.

As a Product Specialist at D’Angelo International, you are the leading expert on our extensive inventory of mining and mineral processing equipment. Acting as our primary technical liaison with customers, you evaluate customer requirements to understand their needs and review our inventory to find potential equipment matches. You gather detailed specifications on our products and present this information to our customers in an informative manner, educating them on the merits of our equipment. When customers need more support, you lead basic and preliminary engineering studies to describe process solutions. You assist in sourcing new inventory by identifying equipment opportunities from our existing and new supplier relationships. As the technical authority on our range of products, you support and participate with  our sales team by providing expertise, guidance and mineral processing solutions to customers.

What we would expect after:

The first 30 days:  You have developed an understanding of our product range, our inventory, and our customer base. You are beginning to evaluate incoming customer requests, matching them with available equipment inventory, to determine if we have a fit for their technical requirements. You assess if modifications or additions are required and lead our team towards a solution. You help with technical descriptions of new inventory and managing our equipment database. You are comfortable with the other team members and together you have taken on  some client projects and equipment quotations. In the first month you have begun to develop rapport and trust with client contacts.

The first 3 months: You are playing an active role on some accounts, deliverables, and coordination alongside the company general manager and other team members. You are beginning to provide support on deals in developing solutions to customer challenges, and in qualifying the technical aspects of customer inquiries. You have reviewed existing projects, sales in process, operations activities and are doing your part to provide technical support to the team to achieve our quarterly profit goal.

The first 6 months: You are independently leading equipment solutions to client requests supporting the sales team. You are communicating directly with clients for project coordination and equipment delivery activities.  Clients view you as the go-to person on their project, and count on you for progress updates and project improvement ideas. You have become familiar with our sources for surplus equipment and are bringing in new listings of equipment. You are preparing new client proposals and are contributing to developing technical specifications and technical aspects of the Scope of Supply for client projects.

1 year: You are developing into a leadership role, independently transforming client equipment requests into equipment solutions as well as leading post-sales support activities. You have developed relationships with existing clients and are actively seeking out new opportunities to enhance their success. You excel in both the number of new project solutions and new equipment offerings you’ve brought on board. Your reputation for providing technical solutions is beginning to bring on new clients, and driving increased revenue in the company. Your technical support and willingness to participate as a team member contributes to our annual profit goals and annual profit bonuses.

Who you are: We recognize that capability comes in many forms and we will consider a wide variety of experiences as appropriate for this position.  We have titled this position Mineral Processing Equipment Specialist to support Mineral Processing Equipment Sales, but you may not necessarily be an engineer. You may have worked closely with engineers (including metallurgical engineer, process engineer, chemical engineer, or mechanical engineer) or have held an engineering equivalent role and developed the experience required to fulfill this position. You have years of on-site experience, which has resulted in a solid grasp of mineral processing equipment, technologies and processes. At a glance you can identify mineral processing equipment, and are familiar with process flows for a variety of mineral processing scenarios.

You bring the drive, analytical skills, computer skills and capability to focus, to learn, to communicate, with a level of sincerity that wins the respect of our customers.

You are an adept communicator in both written and verbal forms who is solution-oriented. You see roadblocks as an opportunity to gain clarity and bring alignment behind new solutions, and it is clear that you are operating from a foundation of integrity, honesty and empathy. You actively cultivate your curiosity, and constantly seek to learn. Most importantly, you truly enjoy working with mineral processing equipment and people.

Compensation: The compensation for this role will be commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate. We offer a competitive salary package that includes a base salary and share in an uncapped team performance bonus.

This role also offers flexibility and convenience, as it is a remote work opportunity with set core working hours, and minimal travel requirements. You will be collaborating with a diverse and talented team across North America.  If all this sounds appealing, this may be the dream job for you.

Authorization to work in the USA:   This will be primarily a remote role. However, given the job responsibilities and the need to work occasionally on site with our customers and vendors within the USA, candidates will be required to have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Location: Work remotely anywhere in North America
