The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral fellowship in Transportation Engineering for the 2019-20 academic year. The position will be appointed at 80% combined teaching and research with a 20% release for efforts in course development, instructional training, and ad hoc department advising needs.
The postdoctoral fellow will engage with campus entities including the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT), Office of University Diversity and Inclusivity (OUDI), Grants Development Office (GDO), and the Center for Service in Action (CSA) to enhance their teaching and scholarship. Expertise in the one or more areas of traffic simulation, data science applications, travel behavior and forecasting, and/or active transportation is preferred.
