Under the general supervision of a Professional Engineer, the Engineer In Training position performs entry-level engineering work for municipal projects with the City’s Utilities Systems, primarily with water but may include stormwater, wastewater and levee work. Participates in the planning, design, budgeting, and scheduling of engineering projects, including overseeing the work of contractors and consultants.
