Oversees all phases of capital project management including design development, resource identification, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, scheduling, construction, auditing, commissioning, closeout, reporting and other activities in alignment with City directives and goals. Responsible for grant applications and administration of grant awards for park improvement and acquisition projects. Assists with updating the Parks, Recreation and Open Space plan and associated Comprehensive Plan elements. Also assists in development of a Park Capital Improvement Program.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Parks and Recreation Administration, Planning, Landscape Architecture or related field.
Five years of park project construction management experience including budgeting and grant writing and administration. Familiarity with the State RCO grant process is preferred. Experiencepreparing PROS plans, park master plans and associated comprehensive plans preferred.
